How long does it take?

Delivery time
: Ask your moving consultant as shipping times vary depending on location and time of the year. We have outlined below a probability schedule based on past experience to give you a basic Idea of how long it takes.

The average probabilities of Door to Door service to Israel

USA - South, West and Midwest 70% - 8 weeks, 20% - 10 weeks
USA - North East 80% - 4 weeks, 20% - 5-6 weeks
Canada: Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa Halifax, : 90% - 3-4 weeks, 10% - 5 weeks
Canada: Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Regina 70% - 4-5 weeks, 20% - 10-12 weeks
Canada:, Vancouver 80% - 8-9 weeks, 20% - 10-12 weeks
Europe: 80% - 3 weeks, 20% - 4 weeks
S Africa: 80% - 5 weeks, 20% - 7 weeks
  • For LCL shipments allow additional 1-3 weeks during the summer and 3-6 weeks during the winter.

Delay factors:

  • High traffic of containers arriving to Israel
  • Port Congestion or Port strike
  • War or other security issues that may affect the port
  • Lack of labour, trucks or containers (especially in the summer).
  • Lack of space on the shipping vessel.
  • Overbooking of the vessel

Once the shipment arrives in Israel, allow 2-6 days for delivering full containers and about 2 weeks for less than full containers. It is best to communicate your preferred delivery date with your moving consultant . However, during the summer, it may be difficult to get the exact, desired delivery date.

It is better to be flexible work with the coordinator. If you cannot accept your shipment at the offered delivery time after clearing customs, this may result in additional storage and demurrage charges.

When should I book the moving date:

The sooner the better and especially in the summer when crews get booked up quickly. In general, it is best to book at least 6 – 8 weeks prior to your packing date and 8 – 12 weeks before a summer packing date.
